I see my clients as growing human beings who have an important life purpose. Every time we make a commitment to become more aware, to honor our potential, and to follow through on our commitments to self and others, we open possibilities for the world to support us far beyond how we even imagined.

I create space for my clients to listen to themselves more deeply. At some level, we already know what is right for us. I simply help my clients to listen to themselves with more curiosity, truthfulness, and trust, and either learn to sit with, or act upon what they discover along the way.

Self-observation and self-reflection are two fundamental practices my coaching clients learn to master. They are foundational to a successful coaching experience and key to a life of continuous growth and development.

Learning to coach well requires a great deal of unlearning. I constantly unlearn beliefs that complicate my thoughts or tell me that my complicated thoughts are the good ones. I know the power of simple questions and truths. I am not valuable to my clients because of the answers I bring; my value stems from the quality of my presence, how I listen, and the questions I am willing to ask.

It often takes some time to get clear on the challenges my clients are trying to solve. My willingness to push solutions before there is clarity, impedes that process. I am not afraid of hard conversations or divergent perspectives because there is no magic bullet. The real work usually lies under the surface, where unconscious beliefs and hidden obstacles nest and fight to survive. Getting to these is the only magic of coaching.
It still inspires and amazes me to witness leaders and teams willing to open themselves up to deep growth and transformation, trusting a process where the outcomes can be quite fuzzy. Sometimes they don't emerge until the very end and more often, they change all together. With that process, we get to expand and change too.

Three assessments to understand strengths, limitations, and areas of development, plus three 60-minute coaching sessions over the course of 6 weeks by phone.

Coaching sessions are scheduled weekly for 50 minutes or bi-weekly for 80 minutes, with majority by phone. Coaching engagements are generally established as 3 or 6 months in length.
